I'm living in Oakland, CA, working and studying computer science at Mills College. I play music, ride motorcycles, practice target archery, travel, and go to shows in my free time. I went to Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, where I studied multimedia production, audio recording, and music technology. Sometimes I make websites, record music, and run live sound for other people, if you're interested ask me about it!

This should give you enough info to disambiguate me from the other Drew Mason's of the internet.

about the site:

I'm in the process of making this site a little more useful. The original concept was to have a kind of random choose your own adventure story. The colorful text is randomly generated every time the page loads, and some of the text is turned into links. Each page has a different kind of content on it--images, movies, music, links...

I recently updated the music page so you can now see the names of the tracks, and play them in an iframe in the upper right corner of the page. (I haven't tested this on a smartphone yet, so if you have one, let me know if it works or not.) I'd like to add descriptions of the music tracks, or maybe organize them into categories, since there's a lot of different stuff there.

why audiomason?

"audio" was a nickname my friend Shaw gave me in college at Evergreen. This was due to the fact that I could constantly be seen running sound for some event on campus or in town.
